Sana'a: A female delegation from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, represented by the Women's and Child Culture Sector, along with representatives from the National Women's Committee, visited the National Museum to view an exhibition showcasing photographs of archaeological and historical sites and landmarks that were targeted by aggression.
According to Yemen News Agency, the delegation was led by Deputy Head of the Women's and Child Culture Sector Madiha Al-Ansi and Head of the National Women's Committee Dr. Ghada Abu Talib. They toured the exhibition pavilions organized by the General Authority of Antiquities and Museums on the occasion of International Museum Day, celebrated on May 18.
The visitors expressed their appreciation to the General Authority of Antiquities and Museums for organizing the exhibition. The event highlights the extent of damage inflicted on museums and archaeological and historical sites due to deliberate and systematic targeting by American, Israeli, Saudi, and Emirati forces. This targeting reflects hostility toward Yemen, its people, and their cultural, historical, and civilizational heritage.
