Sana'a: The organizing committee for women's activities in the governorates has designated specific locations for commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) during Ashura this Saturday afternoon.
According to Yemen News Agency, the committee has urged the women of Yemen to participate in large numbers in the Ashura commemoration and to show solidarity with the Palestinian people while supporting the Yemeni armed forces.
The designated squares for these events span multiple governorates, including 22 central squares in Sana'a Governorate across districts such as Bani Hoshaish, Hamdan, and Sanhan. In Dhamar Governorate, six squares have been identified, including the Sports Stadium Square in Al-Jarmak neighborhood. Hodeida Governorate will see events in six squares, including Al-Hodeidah city and several districts like Bajil and Ad-Durayhimi.
Raymah Governorate will host the event in one square in Al-Jubain District, while Ibb Governorate will have four squares, including the Cultural Center Square. In Taiz Governorate, the event will be held at the Cultural Center Hall in At-Taiziyah District. Baydha Governorate's event will occur at Balqis School in Rada'a, and Mahweet Governorate will have two squares, including Al-Khansa Girls' School Square.
The committee has also set up three squares in Amran Governorate, four in Jawf Governorate, and 16 in Hajjah Governorate. In Sa'ada Governorate, nine squares will host the commemorations across various districts. The organizing committee's initiative aims to facilitate widespread participation in the Ashura revival and promote unity and support for various causes.
