Field Visit by Technical Team to Civil Status Authority to Monitor Procedure Streamlining

Sana'a: The technical team of the National Team for Streamlining Procedures, Processing Transactions, and Improving Service Quality conducted a field visit to the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority to monitor the implementation of the results of the evaluation process for service centers and mechanisms (Phase One - Foundation).

According to Yemen News Agency, the technical team, led by Dr. Yahya Al-Marani, a member of the National Team and Head of the Prevention and Control Department at the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission, met with the Authority's Director, Brigadier General Hussein Aziz, and Director Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Hamzi. The meeting focused on discussing the timeline for the implementation matrix and development proposals prepared by the National Team, based on the inspection and evaluation process results for the service center and its mechanisms.

Dr. Al-Marani emphasized the importance of streamlining procedures for providing civil status and civil registry services, citing its direct relevance to citizens. Brigadier General Aziz highlighted the significant progress made by the Authority in improving procedure quality through service automation and electronic system development. He assured that the department's work would proceed in coordination with the National Team to ensure timely implementation of the matrix.

Additionally, the department's advisor, Colonel Fadl Al-Jubi, reviewed the steps taken to enhance service development and speed of completion. He stressed the importance of these improvements in meeting the growing demand from beneficiaries, aiming for more efficient and flexible transaction processes.

The field visit aims to offer technical support to targeted units, helping them implement recommendations, observations, and development proposals from the first phase (basic) inspection and evaluation reports on service centers and delivery mechanisms. This initiative will facilitate the implementation of recommendations and proposals included in the Cabinet-approved results reports, thus contributing to enhanced service efficiency and quality.
