Finance Minister Abduljabbar Ahmed Reviews Workflow at Public Service Department

Sanaa: Minister of Finance Abduljabbar Ahmed on Saturday inspected the workflow at the Public Service Department of the ministry, as part of efforts to enhance presence and direct communication with citizens. The minister reviewed statistics of transactions received through the department and the mechanisms of processing them across the ministry's various sectors.

According to Yemen News Agency, Minister Abduljabbar Ahmed discussed the ministry's plans and programs aimed at simplifying and streamlining procedures, alongside continuous automation updates designed primarily to serve citizens and complete transactions for other entities. Minister Abduljabbar praised the ministry's pioneering role as one of the first to establish a Public Service Department, given the importance of its functions and its link to all government bodies.

He noted that the ministry has fully automated its services, with all transactions now processed electronically-from submission to completion-while beneficiaries receive completion notifications via SMS. The minister stressed the importance of continuous development and modernization to keep pace with rapid advancements, ensure greater transparency, and enhance service efficiency for citizens, in line with the priorities of the Government of Change and Construction.

He also praised the transaction tracking system, which allows beneficiaries to follow the status of their applications through SMS on the number (5005).
