Sana'a: Finance Minister Abduljabbar Ahmed met with the Chairman of the Capital's Chamber of Commerce, Ali Al-Hadi, along with several merchants to discuss strategic economic measures.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting focused on government measures and incentives designed to bolster the economic sector by supporting national industries and localizing the production of specific goods. The discussions included simplifying tax and customs procedures to enhance partnerships with the private sector, aiming for economic progress amid the country's current challenges.
The meeting highlighted the importance of developing integrated strategic plans to localize industries and identify goods for self-sufficiency and domestic production. Such efforts are seen as crucial for reinforcing the national economy and moving toward comprehensive self-sufficiency.
Additionally, the attendees reviewed mechanisms for joint work to unify and integrate government and private sector efforts, aiming to achieve sustainable development goals.
