Sana'a: The Ministry of Finance, alongside the Tax and Customs Authorities, organized a commemorative event on Saturday to honor the Martyrs' Anniversary 1447 AH, paying tribute to the sacrifices of fallen employees and national heroes.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Finance Minister Nasser al-Hamdani underscored the importance of the occasion in honoring Yemen's martyrs, reflecting on their unwavering commitment to defending the nation's sovereignty and independence. He acknowledged their sacrifices as the cornerstone of Yemen's dignity and freedom.
The event featured speeches from various speakers, including members of the Yemeni Scholars Association, who highlighted the spiritual and national value of martyrdom. They called for continued support for the families of martyrs. The commemoration also included poetry recitals, chants, and the presentation of financial gifts to the families of the fallen employees from the ministry and authorities.
