Hodeida: A training course in first aid concluded in Hodeida Governorate, organized by the branch of the National Women’s Committee in the governorate in cooperation with the Revolution Hospital Authority. The five-day course aimed to equip 28 trainees with essential health skills for providing emergency first aid for various medical situations. These included cardiopulmonary resuscitation methods, handling suffocation, drowning, bleeding, shock, burns, wounds, poisons, and fractures.
According to Yemen News Agency, Fairouz Al-Waisi, head of the committee’s branch, expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation received from the leadership of the Revolution Hospital Authority. She emphasized the importance of spreading the culture of emergency first aid within the community to save lives during injuries or sudden crises that could be fatal.
Al-Waisi highlighted the significant role of these training courses in raising health awareness at the family level. The initiative helps in preparing individuals to provide first aid in emergencies. This course is part of the community activities supported by the National Women’s Committee.
