Taiz: Five children were martyred in the Taiz governorate due to an artillery shell fired by Islah Party mercenaries, affiliated with the US-Saudi aggression coalition, on the al-Arsoum area of Jabal al-Habil in the al-Hashmah area in the al-Taezeyah district.
According to Yemen News Agency, a local source reported that the Islah Party mercenaries targeted the al-Arsoum area with an artillery shell, resulting in the martyrdom of five children from the area.
Medical sources confirmed that the bodies of the martyred children arrived at al-Refai Hospital at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The children were identified as Mubarak Yasser Ali Ahmed Ghaleb al-Sharabi, 14, Osama Abu Bakr Ahmed Ali, 12, Bashir Akram Ahmed Ghaleb, 12, Ahmed Ali Muqbil Abdullah Al-Atmi, 12, and Anas Jawad Mohammed Saleh, 14.
This incident has been met with widespread condemnation by the people of the governorate and all Yemenis. It is part of a series of crimes committed by the aggression's mercenaries against the people of the governorate. These acts highlight a disregard for the lives of women, children, and civilians, with repeated and deliberate targeting of populated neighborhoods.
The occupied areas of the Taiz governorate continue to experience security disturbances and conflicts between Islah Party mercenaries and armed militias. Civilians suffer greatly due to deteriorating services, living conditions, and a lack of security and stability.
