Sana'a: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned on Friday the Zionist entity's decision to take full control of and occupy the Gaza Strip.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry's statement labeled this decision as a new aggressive step and a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms. It highlighted the Zionist entity's intentions to erase Palestinian identity and liquidate the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that their goal extends beyond fighting resistance to controlling land and displacing its people.
The statement warned of the dangerous repercussions of this decision, predicting disastrous outcomes at all levels. It suggested that the move threatens to expand conflict in the region, pushing it towards total chaos. The Ministry described the decision as a full-fledged war crime and a blatant violation of the UN Charter and all relevant international resolutions concerning the Palestinian issue.
Furthermore, the Ministry expressed concern over the exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. It accused the Zionist entity of escalating crimes of murder, ethnic cleansing, and starvation against the defenseless Palestinian population.
The statement also criticized Arab countries seeking to normalize relations with the Zionist entity, suggesting that such normalization would not bring security or prosperity. Instead, it warned that these countries would become vulnerable to attacks.
The Ministry reiterated the Republic of Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their resistance, as announced by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. It stressed that this support is a religious, moral, and humanitarian commitment, demonstrated by Yemeni Armed Forces escalating military operations against Zionist targets until the aggression ceases and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
The statement concluded with a call to the international community and humanitarian organizations to fulfill their moral and legal responsibilities by taking immediate action to stop the Zionist aggression and hold occupation leaders accountable for their crimes against humanity.
