Sanaa: The Foreign Affairs Ministry and Expatriates welcomed on Friday the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, which affirmed that the Zionist entity is obligated to fulfill its obligations under international humanitarian law, facilitate the delivery of aid to Gaza, and refrain from using starvation of civilians as a weapon of war or forcibly displacing them.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry stressed the need to compel the Zionist entity to comply with the provisions of international law and international legitimacy resolutions. It warned against the so-called Knesset's approval of a draft law aimed at imposing the Zionist occupation on the West Bank and another aimed at imposing sovereignty over one of the Zionist settlements.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry considered this further evidence of the occupying entity's attempts to thwart the ceasefire agreement on the Gaza Strip and its continued aggressive settlement policies, which violate all international norms and laws. It also warned the Zionist entity against continuing to violate the agreement reached in Gaza, which would have dire consequences for it.
The ministry reiterated its warning to the occupying entity against continuing its aggression against Lebanon and violating the ceasefire agreement. At the end of its statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry reiterated Yemen's firm position in support of legitimate Palestinian rights.
