Foreign Affairs Ministry Welcomes Ceasefire Agreement Between Pakistan and Afghanistan

Sana'a: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the agreement reached between Pakistan and Afghanistan to impose a ceasefire and to establish mechanisms to consolidate lasting peace and stability between the two countries.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry stated that the agreement demonstrates the commitment of the two neighboring countries to resolve disputes through peaceful means and to uphold the principles of good neighborliness. The Ministry expressed hope that this agreement will be a significant step toward restoring security and stability in the two brotherly countries, serving the interests of their peoples and strengthening peace in the region.

Furthermore, the Ministry cautioned against a Zionist plot aimed at drawing the Islamic nation into side conflicts, which could distract it from its primary struggle against the Israeli enemy and its projects.
