Beirut: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has renewed its warning to the Israeli entity against continuing its aggression against Lebanon. This aggression has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of thousands and caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure since it began in early March.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry's statement on Friday condemned the Zionist aggression as a clear violation of international law and a breach of the Memorandum of Understanding, which called for the immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon. The Ministry asserted that the Israeli entity's actions threaten efforts to end regional aggression and compromise attempts to establish security and stability.
The statement emphasized that the axis of resistance will not remain passive amid the continued escalation by the Israeli entity. The Ministry praised the Lebanese resistance's operations against the aggression, highlighting them as a legitimate self-defense measure supported by international norms, conventions, and laws.
Additionally, the Ministry referenced a statement by Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who affirmed Yemen's readiness to confront any further escalation or developments by American and Israeli forces. This includes potential threats to the region or attempts to isolate Gaza, which could impact the axis of resistance, regional countries, or the Islamic nation's peoples.
