Founding Meeting Marks Establishment of New Sana’a Agricultural Cooperative Society

Muscat: The founding and elective meeting to establish the New Sana'a Agricultural Cooperative Society was held on Monday in the New Sana'a district, Sana'a governorate. Majid Al-Ghaili, Director of the Governorate's Social Affairs and Labor Office, announced that the establishment of the New Sana'a Cooperative Society is a direct implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, aimed at advancing development and cooperative work in the district.

According to Yemen News Agency, the society is intended to serve as a critical service channel for the district's residents, addressing their needs and contributing to overcoming various developmental challenges. Abdullah Al-Marouni, the District Director, emphasized that the society aligns with a broader strategy to enhance cooperative work in the agricultural sector, which is considered essential for food and economic security.

Mohammed Najad, Director of Associations and Unions at the Governorate's Social Affairs and Labor Office, outlined the procedures and principles for electing the society's administrative body. He stressed the importance of a transparent and fair election process to appoint an administration capable of driving development and meeting the district's needs effectively.
