Sana'a: The fourth outdoor archery championship is currently progressing in the capital, Sana'a. The event is organized by the Archery Federation with supervision from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and is supported by the Youth and Children Care Fund. It is being held under the slogan 'Martyrs on the Path to Jerusalem.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the third day of the championship witnessed the Round of 16 matches. In the boys' juniors category, competitors such as Abdullah Al-Hashdi, Anwar Al-Salahi, Amir Abdulrahim, Ahmed Al-Salahi, Kinan Shadi, Ahmed Al-Hajj, Qais Al-Sadiq, and Ali Bawazir advanced to the quarterfinals. In the men's category, Nasser Al-Siyaghi, Kinan Al-Sadiq, Ammar Al-Shimiri, Kamal Al-Hilali, Mohammed Ajlan, Abduljalil Al-Shimiri, Anan Al-Jandari, and Elias Hayel moved forward to secure their spots in the quarterfinals.
As the competition intensified in the quarterfinals, Abdullah Al-Hashdi, Amir Abdulrahim, Ahmed Al-Hajj, and Qais Al-Hadi emerged victorious in the boys' semifinals. Similarly, Kamal Al-Hilali, Nasser Al-Siyaghi, Mohammed Ajlan, and Elias Hayel succeeded in reaching the men's semifinals.
The championship is set to conclude tomorrow with final matches scheduled across all categories. Participants in women, girls, juniors, and men categories will compete for the top honors.
