Sana'a: The Fourth Republic Athletics Championship for the Deaf (men) and the Ninth Chess Championship for the Deaf (men and women) have kicked off in the capital, Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, a group of deaf athletes representing the capital city and the governorates of Aden, Hadramawt (Mukalla and Seiyun), Taiz, Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran, Ibb, and Hodeidah are participating in the five-day championships. These events are being held under the supervision of the Ministries of Youth and Sports and Social Affairs and Labor.
