Free Eye Camp Set to Launch in Damt District to Provide Vital Surgeries

Damt: Tomorrow, the Health Care Association for Affected Communities will initiate its 73rd free medical camp for eye surgery in Damt District, Dhalea Governorate. The event will take place at Damt Rural Hospital and is scheduled to run from the 24th to the 27th of Dhu al-Qi'dah.

According to Yemen News Agency, the camp is funded by the General Authority for Zakat and organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Environment and its local office in Dhalea. The initiative is designed to offer examination services and conduct 200 surgeries, including cataract procedures, specifically targeting families in need within the district. The goal of the camp is to help alleviate the medical burden faced by impoverished communities in the area.
