Hajjah: Local authorities in Hajjah Governorate officially inaugurated the Friends of Dialysis Patients Association, marking a new milestone in community-led healthcare support for the region. According to Yemen News Agency, the launch event was attended by social affairs officials and featured the election of an administrative board. Dr. Nabil al-Qadami was elected as President, while Dr. Sultan Masoud took the position of Secretary-General. The association is tasked with establishing a comprehensive support network that addresses the medical, nutritional, and psychological needs of kidney patients. In addition to direct patient care, the association aims to modernize dialysis services, train specialized medical staff, and launch home-care follow-up programs. Leadership emphasized their commitment to forming strategic partnerships with medical centers to ensure a holistic approach to patient health and family support in the governorate.
