Sana’a: The body of the martyr Major Asim Abdullah Ahmed Asim, who was martyred while performing his duty in the way of God and in defense of the homeland, was buried today in Sana’a Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the funeral was attended by notable figures including Member of Parliament Mohammed Al-Qadi, former Minister of State Nabih Abu Nashtan, First Undersecretary of Sana’a Governorate Hamid Asim, and Undersecretary Ibad Al-Awj. The mourners praised the virtues of the martyrs and their sacrifices, which have yielded significant victories for their cause.
The attendees affirmed that the blood of the heroic martyrs in the fields of pride and honor will remain a beacon for future generations and a motive for steadfastness and resilience in the face of the forces of aggression. They renewed their pledge to continue on the path of the martyrs and to keep supplying the fronts until victory is achieved.
The relatives of Major Asim expressed their pride and honor in the sacrifices he made for the sake of God and in defense of the homeland’s sovereignty and independence. They affirmed their commitment to continue on the same path that the martyrs walked. The body was laid to rest in the Al-Hafah Garden after the funeral prayer at the Al-Hafah Mosque.
