Sana'a: A formal funeral procession was held in the capital Sana'a for Brig. Gen. Hamid Ahmed al-Husseini, who passed away after a life of service to the nation and the armed forces.
According to Yemen News Agency, senior officials, including Shura Council Deputy Speaker Dhaifullah Rassam and military leaders, attended the ceremony. The funeral prayer was held at al-Sha'ab Mosque before the body was laid to rest in his hometown.
