Funeral of Martyrs Aqel Al-Qansi & Faraj Al-Rimi from Badbadah District Held in Sana’a

Sana'a: The bodies of First Lieutenant Aqel Mohammed Saleh Al-Qansi and First Lieutenant Faraj Abdo Ahmed Al-Rimi, both hailing from the Badbadah District in Marib, were laid to rest in Sana'a.

According to Yemen News Agency, the two were martyred while performing their duty in defense of the homeland. The funeral ceremony was attended by Marib Governor Ali Taeman, the governorate's mobilization official Badr Al-Majash, several deputy governors, and local authority leaders. The attendees expressed pride in the sacrifices of the martyrs and their heroic efforts in confronting opposing forces in defense of land, honor, and national sovereignty.

They further emphasized the importance of following in the martyrs' path, highlighting the need for sacrifices to achieve victory for the oppressed, uphold the Qur'an, and defend the homeland's security and stability. The funeral rites were conducted after prayers at Al-Shaab Mosque in Sana'a, with the martyrs being interred at Al-Sammad Martyrs' Cemetery.
