Sana’a: The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums has invited visitors to explore Yemen’s museums through its website at https://goam.gov.ye/museum. The Authority aims to preserve Yemen’s heritage and provide global access to the history and civilization encapsulated in its museums.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Authority’s Chairman, Abad al-Hayyal, emphasized that despite the closure or targeting of many Yemeni museums, this digital initiative serves as a crucial tool to promote and protect Yemen’s cultural legacy. Al-Hayyal highlighted that the Museums section on the Authority’s website offers a comprehensive introduction to the Yemeni museums and the archaeological artifacts they house, which illustrate Yemen’s rich and ancient heritage. Efforts are ongoing to further develop and expand this digital resource.

Al-Hayyal extended an invitation to the public to visit the site and explore the museums of Yemen, including the National Museum in Sana’a, the Folklore Museum, and the War Museum, among others. Other notable mentions are the Aden National Museum, Ibb Museum, and Sayoun Museum, each contributing to the diverse tapestry of Yemen’s historical narrative.
