Sana'a: The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums condemned in the strongest terms the brutal US aggression that targeted the historic "Al-Qashlah" fortress in Sana'a's Nuqam Mountain.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Authority considered this targeting a blatant assault on Yemeni history and heritage. It emphasized that the attack caused serious damage to this ancient archaeological and historical landmark, which is one of the most prominent historical and architectural witnesses, with its national and cultural symbolism.
The statement pointed out that Al-Qashlah Castle is one of the historical symbols that embody the cultural depth of Yemen, and its targeting represents a major crime that is added to the series of violations against Yemeni identity and civilization.
The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums called on all international organizations concerned with protecting human heritage to assume their legal, moral responsibilities and condemn this blatant aggression that targets the common cultural heritage of humanity.
