General Authority for Endowments and Guidance Mourns Passing of Scholar Mohsen Al-Ghalibi

Sana'a: The General Authority for Endowments and Guidance mourned the passing of Scholar Mohsen Qassem Ibrahim Al-Ghalibi, who passed away after a life filled with knowledge, faith, struggle, good deeds, service to the religion and the dissemination of guidance and Islamic knowledge.

According to Yemen News Agency, in its statement of condolence, the Authority praised the deceased's virtues and contributions to the service of Islam. He was described as a learned and dedicated scholar, a man of virtue and righteousness, and a sincere follower of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), adhering to their path.

The statement noted that the deceased spent a significant portion of his life seeking, acquiring, and disseminating knowledge. He studied under several prominent Yemeni scholars and received scholarly certifications from Imam al-Hujjah Majd al-Din al-Mu'aydi, Allamah Hasan al-Ajri, and Allamah Salah al-Hashimi.

The statement continued, "The General Authority for Endowments and Guidance, in mourning this eminent scholar, recognizes the profound loss that the passing of dedicated scholars represents for the scholarly, jihadist, and guidance spheres, given their profound knowledge and the vital role they play in guiding society, educating people, and instilling the values of religion, morality, and virtue." The statement expressed sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the family of the deceased, his teachers, students, loved ones, and all members of the Al-Ghalibi family, asking Allah Almighty to grant him His abundant mercy and pleasure, elevate his rank in Paradise, reward him for his knowledge, struggle, work, and service to the faith, and grant the nation a worthy successor, and inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
