Sana'a: The General Authority for Science, Technology, and Innovation organized a speech event on Wednesday to mark the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). During the event, the Authority's Chairman, Dr. Munir Al-Qadhi, emphasized the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday as a tribute to the values and principles he imparted. He noted the revered status of the Prophet, who was sent to guide humanity from ignorance and moral decay to mercy and virtue.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Qadhi highlighted the importance of adhering to the Muhammadan path, which he believes preserves the dignity and honor of the Islamic nation. He urged the Muslim community to draw inspiration from the Prophet's life, stressing that a return to God, His Holy Book, and the authentic Muhammadan path could restore dignity and strength to Muslim communities. Dr. Al-Qadhi also mentioned that commemorating the Prophet's birthday can serve to frustrate enemies and promote unity among Muslims, encouraging participation in these events.
Meanwhile, Saleh Al-Khulani, a member of the Yemen Scholars Association, underscored the lessons and principles derived from the Prophet's life and their positive impact on society. Al-Khulani spoke about the Prophet's esteemed status and the achievements of Islamic civilization under his teachings. He encouraged broad participation in the central event commemorating the Prophet's birthday, highlighting the demonstration of Yemenis' love and adherence to the Prophet's values.
