Hajjah: A team from the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority conducted a field visit to Bakil Al-Mir District in Hajjah Governorate to identify water sites for citizens.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of the Survey Authority branch in the governorate, Mohammed Al-Qadami, explained that the geological team, headed by Engineer Mohammed Shams and with the participation of the Professor of Geology and Water Resources at Sana'a University, Dr. Yahya Al-Wadhaf, will conduct exploratory studies for water sites in a number of areas in the district.
He indicated that the visit came based on a request from the local authority in the governorate within the framework of efforts to alleviate citizens' suffering from water scarcity, and as part of the Authority's plans for community development. He noted that the team recently conducted more than 10 exploratory studies for water sites in Kushar District in the governorate.
