Gold Prices Break Record, Surpassing $3,800 per Ounce

Sana'a: Gold prices surged yesterday to their highest level ever, supported by a weaker dollar and growing expectations that the US Federal Reserve may cut interest rates further later this year. Spot gold jumped by about 1.2% to $3,806.57 per ounce. US gold futures for December delivery rose 0.7% to $3,836.30. According to Yemen News Agency, among other precious metals, spot silver rose 0.6% to $46.26 per ounce, platinum gained 2.2% to $1,602.45, and palladium climbed 0.8% to $1,279.68 per ounce. These increases reflect a broader trend in the precious metals market driven by economic factors such as currency fluctuations and monetary policy expectations.
