Germany: Gold prices held steady on Tuesday as investors assessed developments in the Middle East conflict and anticipated interest rate expectations ahead of the release of US inflation data. Spot gold was trading at $4,732.89 per ounce by 02:46 GMT. According to Yemen News Agency, US gold futures for June delivery rose 0.3% to $4,742.40. Among other precious metals, spot silver was steady at $86.08 per ounce. Platinum fell 1.6% to $2,098.25, while palladium declined 1% to $1,494. Investors are closely monitoring geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, which often impact commodity prices, including gold. The anticipation of US inflation data also plays a role in market movements, as it can influence the Federal Reserve's interest rate decisions.
