Gold Shines at Record High, Rises to All-Time High

Sana'a: Gold shined at a record high, rising to an all-time high on Tuesday, supported by growing expectations of continued U.S. interest rate cuts and a slight decline in the dollar. Spot gold rose 0.2 percent to $3,752.43 per ounce, after hitting an all-time high of $3,758.03 earlier in the session.

According to Yemen News Agency, U.S. gold futures for December delivery rose 0.3 percent to $3,787.60. The dollar index fell 0.1 percent, making dollar-denominated gold cheaper for foreign buyers. Gold, a safe haven that typically performs well in a low-interest-rate environment, has jumped about 43 percent this year, driven by broader geopolitical and economic uncertainty, central bank buying, and monetary policy easing.
