Sana'a: Government spokesman Dr. Omar Al-Bukheiti stated that the Saudi enemy was adding new crimes to its record by targeting civilians traveling across Al-Barh Bridge in Maqbanah District on Monday, while the blood had not yet dried from its 'heinous crime' against inmates at Hazm Al-Jawf Central Prison.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bukheiti highlighted the ongoing blockade imposed by Saudi forces on Yemeni ports and airports, emphasizing that this action aims to impoverish the Yemeni people and dismantle the nation's resources. He pointed out the continuous airstrikes conducted by Saudi forces, stemming from bases in Khamis Mushait and Taif, as a clear violation of international conventions and an infringement on Yemen's sovereignty and independence.
Al-Bukheiti criticized Saudi Arabia for not learning from its defeats in Yemen over the past 12 years. He issued a warning that Saudi military installations, bases, and oil facilities would remain targets for Yemeni strikes as a response to their actions. He underscored that Yemen would retaliate to any escalation with further escalation, and to the blockade with a blockade of its own.
He concluded by asserting that the only viable option for the Saudi enemy is to cease its aggression, lift the blockade, fully withdraw from Yemen, compensate for damages, and release prisoners.
