Al-Bayda:Governor Abdullah Idris conducted an inspection of the markets in Al-Bayda city to assess the current supply conditions.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Idris examined both wholesale and retail markets, as well as various shops, to understand the state of supply stability. He received a briefing from Ahmed Al-Tahiri, the director of the Economy, Industry and Investment Office, on the stability of goods supply and the monitoring of price fluctuations, tampering, or fraud in goods and foodstuffs. The tasks of field inspection teams, which are actively monitoring the markets, were also discussed.

Governor Idris emphasized the significance of market oversight and the continuation of campaigns spearheaded by the Economy Office. These efforts are crucial in enhancing market oversight, identifying violators, and ensuring the provision of essential goods despite ongoing aggression and siege.

He highlighted the need for joint efforts between official bodies and community members to support the field oversight teams. Such cooperation is essential for preventing price manipulation and mitigating the challenges faced by citizens due to the aggression and siege, which he believes will soon end with the efforts of the army and the support of honorable people from various governorates.

The Governor commended the Economy Office's efforts in maintaining supply stability, ensuring the availability of foodstuffs, and controlling prices. He called on traders to support these initiatives and comply with the pricing set by the Ministry of Industry and Investment.
