Governor of Hadhramaut Urges Residents to Avoid Saudi-Occupied Military Camps

Accra:Hadhramaut The Governor of Hadhramaut, Luqman Baras, has reiterated his appeal for residents of the southern and eastern governorates to vacate military camps currently occupied by Saudi forces across various regions of Yemen.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Baras issued a warning against the Saudi regime's efforts to exploit the people of Hadhramaut as "fuel" for its ongoing conflict against Yemen. He emphasized the risks of engaging in battles that solely benefit the Saudi forces, which have sustained their aggression and blockade against Yemen for 12 years, depleting its resources for expansionist objectives.

Governor Baras advised residents, including tribal sheikhs, community leaders, and religious scholars, to distance themselves from Saudi-occupied areas and staging grounds, as these sites are considered legitimate targets by the Yemeni Armed Forces. This advice aims to protect civilians from potential harm.

He also called for bolstering national unity to counteract the Saudi occupier's divisive agendas and conspiracies that threaten Yemen's sovereignty and identity. Baras urged the people of Hadhramaut to fulfill their national and religious duties by raising awareness of the external plots that seek to undermine Yemen's steadfast positions, particularly regarding Islamic issues and the Palestinian cause.

Highlighting the ongoing atrocities committed by Saudi forces, including targeting civilians and damaging infrastructure, the governor stressed the importance of solidarity with Yemen's revolutionary and political leadership to thwart enemy schemes.

Governor Baras praised the leadership of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and acknowledged the sacrifices of martyrs and the wounded, noting the significant victories achieved by the Yemeni armed forces on multiple fronts.
