Dhamar: The Governor of Raymah, Fares Al-Habbari, today inspected the construction work on the project to rehabilitate and maintain the Al-Jabin - Mazhar - Madinat Al-Sharq road in Dhamar governorate. The project is being carried out by the Executive Unit for Road Construction and Maintenance in the governorate, funded by the local authority in the governorate with a contribution from the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, Governor Al-Habbari, accompanied by Deputy Governors Mohammed Murad and Hafez Al-Wahidi, listened to a briefing from those in charge of the project on the progress of work, which included the construction of culverts and drainage systems and the rehabilitation of the road with asphalt.
The Governor of Raymah emphasized the importance of completing the work on the Al-Jabin - Mazhar - Madinat Al-Sharq road rehabilitation project, which is considered a strategic project to facilitate traffic to and from the governorate. He stressed the need to maintain the road project, complete the construction work, and carry out regular and continuous maintenance.
Governor Al-Habbari called on the relevant authorities to translate the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership into action by completing the road project with asphalt to alleviate the suffering of citizens and facilitate their movement, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances the country is going through due to the ongoing repercussions of the aggression and blockade.
