Sana’a: Al-Badr Schools for the Holy Qur’an and Sharia Sciences celebrated the graduation of their fourth batch of 97 fourth-level students, named “Martyr of Islam and Humanity Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah,” on Saturday in Sana’a.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony was attended by notable figures including member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammed Ali al-Houthi and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Engineer Mohammed al-Mahdi. Director of the Revolutionary Leader’s Office, Safar al-Sufi, extended greetings and congratulations from Leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to the new graduates.
Safar al-Sufi highlighted the significance of the graduates’ association with the schools of the Holy Qur’an, emphasizing their role in fostering guidance, knowledge, and piety. He congratulated the graduates on achieving this honor, encouraging them to apply their knowledge in fields of work and to take on the responsibility of nation-building and defending the country’s sovereignty and sanctities.
The ceremony also underscored the importance of naming this batch after Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, acknowledging his sacrifice for his nation and its central issues. Safar al-Sufi expressed hope that the younger generation would continue to pursue valuable sciences, particularly the Holy Qur’an and its Sharia teachings, while upholding the virtuous values promoted by true Islamic religion.
In their address, the graduates expressed pride in completing an integrated curriculum of Qur’anic and Sharia sciences over four years. They pledged their commitment to Allah, His Messenger, and the revolutionary leadership to adhere to the Qur’anic teachings, serve their homeland, protect Islamic sanctuaries, and support national causes, especially the Palestinian cause.
