Guidance & Scholars Convene in Hodeida for Ramadan 1446 Preparation

Hodeida: The Guidance and Scholars Sector in Hodeida Province organized an expanded meeting for scholars, preachers, and imams of mosques in Hodeida city to prepare for the Ramadan program 1446 AH. This initiative was conducted in coordination with the local authority and the General Mobilization Division.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting emphasized the significant role of scholars and preachers during the holy month. It aimed to educate the community, strengthen unity, and consolidate faith values. First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri highlighted Ramadan as a pivotal time for spiritual growth, urging scholars to guide society and promote the values of charity and solidarity.

The deputy governor stressed the importance of spreading awareness and promoting religious and national values. He noted that supporting awareness activities is a leadership priority, given their role in human development and protecting society from misconceptions.

Abdulrahman Al-Warfi of the Yemen Scholars Association stated that the meeting is crucial for preparing effective Ramadan programs. He emphasized the need for plans that align with community needs and enhance connections with mosques and religious activities.

Sheikh Ali Somel, head of the Ulema Unit, called for enhanced collaboration between scholars, preachers, and mosque imams. He stressed the importance of ensuring that awareness and religious messages reach all segments of society.

Sheikh Ali Adabi, Vice President of Dar Al Uloom Sharia University, highlighted Ramadan as an opportunity to spread Qur’anic culture and boost social awareness. Meanwhile, Sheikh Sulaiman Al-Faqih, President of the Holy Qur’an University, spoke of the scholars’ responsibility to guide society in utilizing Ramadan for spiritual obedience. He emphasized the need for a unified religious discourse to strengthen faith values.
