Hajjah: The Governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al-Sufi, along with province undersecretary Ibrahim Amer and the Director of the Health Office, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kuhlani, conducted an inspection of the health centers and units in Bakil Al-Mir district to assess the progress of work.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Sufi, Amer, Al-Kuhlani, and other local officials, including Local Council Member Ali Jubran and District Director Mayoof Al-Samhi, reviewed the medical services being provided to patients at several health centers. They received detailed explanations from Ali Jubran, the Director of the Health Branch in the district, and directors of the health centers about the primary needs and challenges faced in operations.
Governor Al-Sufi emphasized the commitment to enhancing the health sector and improving medical services, especially in remote areas. He highlighted the importance of strengthening the role of health centers in delivering primary care and alleviating citizens' suffering. He also directed the Health Office to address obstacles hindering the centers' operations to improve the quality of services provided to district residents and nearby areas.
Dr. Al-Kuhlani expressed dedication to supporting health centers with available resources and announced the upgrade of the Sabran health unit to a health center as an initial step to expand services for citizens. The governor was accompanied by various local leaders during the visit.
