Hajjah Governor Reviews Road Survey Project in Washha District

Hajjah: The Governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al-Sufi, today inspected the progress of work in implementing a road survey and expansion project in Washha District, which is being executed under a community initiative and with support from the local authority in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Al-Sufi was accompanied by the governorate undersecretary Ibrahim Amer, the official in charge of the education sector in Hajjah Ali Al-Qutayb, directors of the Health Office Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahlani, the branch of the Rural Water Projects Authority Saleh Al-Falahi, the deputy mobilization official in the Aham districts Ahmed Al-Ghamari, and the district director Abdulqudus Al-Khashab. They reviewed the level of completion in the road project, which spans 40 kilometers and connects several isolated areas and villages.

During the inspection, those in charge of the project provided an explanation about the nature of the work carried out, the difficulties facing the progress of work, and ways to overcome them.

The Governor of Hajjah emphasized the importance of the project in facilitating the movement of citizens and alleviating their suffering. He praised the community's interaction and effective contribution to implementing the project. He also highlighted the commitment to support and encourage community initiatives, given their role in enhancing local development and addressing the needs of citizens, especially under the current circumstances.

Meanwhile, the people of Washha District appreciated the interest and support of the governorate leadership for service projects that directly affect the lives of citizens.
