Hajjah: A cultural event was organized on Saturday in Hajjah governorate to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was organized by the Technical Education Sector, the Student Forum, al-Manar College, the Razi University Branch, Bin Hayyan College, al-Mustaqbal Institute, and other institutes. The event featured remarks by Ismail al-Sharafi, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, who emphasized the importance of engaging in celebrations of the Prophet's birthday as a manifestation of the deep connection to the Messenger and affirmation of adherence to his message and prophetic path.
Al-Sharafi highlighted that commemorating this occasion reflects the strong bond with the Prophet, reverence for him, pride in his message, and the sincere loyalty and love the Yemeni people hold for him in their hearts and minds. He noted that the celebration signifies recognition of God's favor upon humanity and provides an opportunity to speak about the Prophet, his mission, and his methodology, while evaluating the state of the Ummah and reaffirming commitment to following his guidance in supporting the oppressed.
In the event, Dean of al-Manar College Ali al-Halani remarked that the Prophet's birthday renews all meanings of dignity and faith. He praised the descendants of the Ansar for their distinctive celebration of the Prophet's birthday compared to other nations, noting that the occasion is rich with lessons and guidance the Ummah needs today, benefiting humanity as a whole in correcting its course and confronting global powers that commit massacres in Gaza and sow corruption on earth.
