Hajjah Launches Cleaning Campaign for Prophet’s Birthday Celebration

Hajjah: Today, the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Hajjah Governorate, Ismail Al-Muhaim, initiated a cleaning campaign in preparation for the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the three-day initiative, executed by the Governorate's Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, aims to clear dust and waste to enhance the appearance of the governorate's centers and districts. During the launch, attended by the Director of the Governorate Center, Essam Al-Wazzan, Al-Muhaim highlighted the campaign's role in removing waste and improving the cities' appearance to mark the Prophet's birthday, may peace be upon him and his family.

Al-Muhaim urged residents to engage in the cleaning efforts as a preparation for the celebration, encouraging them to embody the Prophet's morals and characteristics in daily life and to uphold cleanliness as an expression of faith.

Hamza Sharaf Al-Din, the Fund's Executive Director, noted that the campaign is part of the preparations for the anniversary, reflecting the faith identity and principles of Islam. He mentioned that the campaign involves over 350 workers and 31 pieces of equipment in more than 14 districts. The initiative was preceded by the decoration and maintenance of street medians to honor the Prophet's birthday appropriately.
