Hajjah: Woman & Four Children Die After House Collapse in Al-Jumaimah


Hajjah: Five members of one family died on Sunday after their house collapsed suddenly in Al-Jumaimah District, Hajjah Governorate. Abdulrahman Al-Muhammadi, the local director of Al-Jumaimah District, reported that the incident occurred in Al-Khutwah sub-district at around 7:00 p.m., leading to the tragic loss of citizen Majida Ahmed Mastool, aged 35, and her four children: Ahmed Abdu Mastool, 6, Murtadha Abdu Mastool, 4, Rayhana Abdu Mastool, 2, and Salah Ali Mastool, 8.



According to Yemen News Agency, residents and relevant authorities responded promptly to the incident, working quickly to recover the victims’ bodies from the rubble and transfer them to the local health center. Al-Muhammadi expressed his condolences and sympathy to the victims’ family, highlighting the severity of the tragedy.



Al-Muhammadi urged relevant authorities and humanitarian organizations to provide immediate relief and emergency assistance to the victims’ family, emphasizing the need to alleviate their suffering in the aftermath of the incident.
