Hamas Applauds Yemeni Missile Strikes on Ben Gurion Airport

Tel Aviv: The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has expressed its approval of the missile strikes executed by the Yemeni Armed Forces within Israeli territories. The group referred to the strikes as "blessed" actions in a statement released on Sunday. According to Yemen News Agency, Hamas emphasized the significance of the missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport, located in the core of Tel Aviv. The movement described the attack as a demonstration of Yemen's unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and an indication of its determination to support the Palestinian people, despite ongoing hostilities described as American-Zionist aggression. The statement further acknowledged Yemen's leadership and citizens for their continued support and courage, especially in aiding Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, who Hamas claims are experiencing genocide. Hamas also expressed solidarity with Yemen against what it termed as brutal aggression from American and Zionist forces. Hamas urged Arab and Islamic nations to fu lfill their responsibilities in defending Palestine and its people, who they said are facing severe hardships in the Gaza Strip. They called for a united effort to protect the region's sanctities and resist what they described as occupation plans aimed at dominating the region and exploiting its resources. The missile strike at Ben Gurion Airport resulted in injuries to eight individuals. Israeli media, including the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, reported confirmation from the Israeli ambulance service regarding the casualties. The missile explosion reportedly created a 25-meter deep crater at the site. Additionally, Israeli Army Radio cited a military source stating that attempts by the American THAAD and Israeli Arrow defense systems to intercept the missile were unsuccessful.
