Handing Over Ceremony Marks Start of Al-Nasr Al-Wahdawi School Construction in Sana’a

Sana'a: The General Administration of Community Initiatives in Sana'a province, along with the Local Council of New Sana'a District, handed over the site for the first phase of the Al-Nasr Al-Wahdawi School construction project to the implementing party. The project aims to advance educational infrastructure in the region.

According to Yemen News Agency, the project includes the construction of 14 classrooms, annexes, administrative offices, storage rooms, and service facilities. This community initiative, valued at an estimated 120 million Yemeni riyals, is jointly funded by the local authority, the Central Interventions Unit, and contributions from local citizens.

During the handover ceremony, the Director of Financial Affairs, Mohammed Al-Amisi, along with the Directors of Community Initiatives, Engineer Mohammed Al-Nazari, and the District Director, Abdullah Al-Marouni, outlined the first phase of the project. This phase involves excavation, land leveling, and the construction of foundational elements, with a budget of 28 million riyals.

The officials highlighted the significant community involvement and the community committee's role in the project's progress. They acknowledged the support from the province's leadership and emphasized the project's contribution to the educational infrastructure.

Al-Nazari and Al-Marouni called on the implementing party to adhere to the technical standards, cost, and timeframe specified for the project's completion.
