Hayfan: Residents of Hayfan District in Taiz Province gathered on Wednesday in a large tribal rally, declaring general mobilization, full preparedness to end the aggression and break the siege, while expressing support for the armed forces' options to establish the equation of 'siege for siege and escalation for escalation.'
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rally, attended by Hayfan District Director Omar Awahj, mobilization official Arhab Al-Ariki, Hayfan tribal chief Abdulghafour Al-Aghbari, military and security leaders, community figures, educators, and local dignitaries, raised banners and slogans supporting measures to confront the siege and condemning what they described as Saudi policies of aggression in the region.
They affirmed full solidarity with Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, considering attacks targeting the peoples of the region part of US-Zionist plan aimed at undermining their security, stability, and resources.
The participants said the continued siege on Yemen and attacks against peoples of the region represent an aggressive approach serving colonial and Zionist projects. They praised strategic decisions by the leadership and armed forces, including imposing a naval blockade on the enemy in response, until the siege is lifted and the legitimate rights of the Yemeni people are restored.
The rally participants renewed their full authorization of Ansarullah leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and their support for measures aimed at breaking the siege, ending the aggression, and expelling occupation from Yemeni territory.
A statement issued at the rally, titled 'Readiness and Mobilization to Stop Aggression and Siege,' affirmed commitment to freedom and independence, rejecting what it described as attempts by Saudi Arabia and global Zionist forces to impose their projects on the Yemeni people.
The statement announced general mobilization and called on residents of the district and province to join 'Al-Aqsa Flood' mobilization courses at various levels.
It stressed the importance of preserving internal unity and firmly confronting anyone seeking to undermine it in service of enemies, reaffirming a tribal and popular stance against those proven to be involved in espionage or working for hostile parties.
The statement also reaffirmed commitment to positions on major regional causes, particularly Palestine and support for Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing adherence to the 'Unity of Fronts' equation with resistance groups in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran, and opposition to what it called the Israeli project of 'Greater Israel.'
