Head of Customs Authority Assesses Damage and Workflow at Hodeida and Salif Ports

Hodeida: Engineer Adel Margham, Head of the Customs Authority, inspected the workflow at Hodeida port and Salif customs. He was briefed on the damage to customs infrastructure caused by the aggression and the direct targeting of Hodeida ports.

According to Yemen News Agency, during his visit, Engineer Margham listened to an explanation from customs officials regarding the damage to customs facilities. Officials detailed the measures taken to address the effects of the destruction and mitigate its repercussions on workflow and the services provided.

The Head of the Authority also reviewed the level of customs performance and the procedures implemented to facilitate the movement of goods. He emphasized the importance of ensuring a smooth flow of essential goods through the ports to cover the local market. Engineer Margham acknowledged the efforts of customs personnel and their dedication to performing their duties under challenging circumstances facing the country.
