Sanaa: The Head of the National Human Rights Authority, Ali Taseer, affirmed that the slogan 'Al-Sarkah' (the Cry) is not merely a media phenomenon, but rather a compass and path for identifying the enemies of Allah, a message to all peoples that the United States and Israel are the world's primary criminals.
According to Yemen News Agency, Taseer explained, in a speech event organized by the Authority on Wednesday on the occasion of the annual anniversary of Al-Sarkah, that the slogan emerged in response to what he described as destructive acts carried out by the United States and the Israeli entity. He noted that the U.S. occupation of Afghanistan and then Iraq brought Islamic countries under domination and hegemony.
He pointed out that the U.S. system has been committing crimes against humanity for more than 250 years, spreading terrorism, corruption, and bullying against countries and their peoples, alongside the Israeli occupying entity.
The head of the Authority indicated that in 2002, some Arab countries presented themselves in loyalty and obedience to the Israeli entity and the United States, stressing that Al-Sarkah remains evidence of rejection of surrender and domination.
He affirmed that the late leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi and the leader of the revolution Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi placed central emphasis on Al-Sarkah as an authentic Qur'anic project and a firm faith-based identity through which the nation confronts projects of hegemony, westernization, and dependency.
Taseer stated that Al-Sarkah is not a passing slogan, but a comprehensive culture and a resounding voice of truth in the face of tyrannical oppressors.
He added that the slogan is inseparable from reality, but rather an effective weapon in confronting the forces of the Saudi-American-Israeli aggression and their tools, which commit daily crimes against humanity in Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, and elsewhere, making Al-Sarkah an obligation that can only be abandoned by those who have lost insight or surrendered to a culture of submission and defeat.
He also addressed the crimes of the Israeli entity in the Gaza Strip, which, he said, have resulted in the killing of more than 72,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children.
Taseer further referred to the crimes of the Israeli-American-Saudi aggression in Yemen.
