Taiz: The Health and Environment Office in Taiz province organized today an oratorical event on the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship) under the slogan "Whoever I am his master (mawla), then this Ali is his master."

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures including the Director of the Office of the Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Ali Al-Sharafi, and the Director of the Health Office in the province, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ezzi. A number of directors of executive offices also participated. Mohammed Al-Shahari, a medical staff member of the 17th Brigade, emphasized the significance of commemorating this occasion and reflecting on its meanings in the context of the nation.

In his speech, Al-Shahari highlighted that Yawm al-Wilayah is a significant religious occasion passed down through generations, embodying obedience to Almighty God's command and recognizing His blessings upon the nation. He stated that the commemoration aims to solidify the principle of guardianship (wilayah), recall the historical declaration, and renew the connection to its values and meanings.

Al-Shahari noted that this commemoration comes at a crucial time amid attempts by American and Zionist forces to exert control over the nation's peoples. He affirmed that the path to liberation lies in returning to the Book of God, following His Messenger, and adhering to the teachings of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

He further explained that allegiance to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali represents a path of honor and dignity. He reviewed contemporary evidence of the Yemeni stance in support of the Palestinian people and highlighted Yemen's achievements in confronting global powers, thereby strengthening its presence among the free nations of the world.

The event included the participation of the Health Office staff in the province, directors of health offices in the districts, hospitals, and health personnel. It featured two poems and a choral segment that embodied the significance of the occasion.
