Manakha: The ministry of health and environment on Saturday began the 2nd stage of rescue deployment plan in order to boost safety on highways. The initiative is aimed at enhancing the accessibility of rescue services, particularly on major thoroughfares.
According to Yemen News Agency, the 2nd stage is kicked off here in Manakha, Sana’a governorate, in cooperation with the traffic general department. The director general of emergency at the ministry stated that this effort is part of a larger strategy to ensure that emergency services are promptly available to those in need on the highways.
To support this initiative, the ministry has supplied the traffic police stations on Sana’a-Hodeida road and in Sharq Town with three ambulances, explained Dr. Osama al-Sharafi.
