Health Office and Education Sector Host Event in Washhah to Celebrate Prophet’s Birthday

Hajjah: The Health Office and Education Sector in Washhah district of Hajjah governorate on Wednesday held a cultural evening and a speech event to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

According to Yemen News Agency, at the health sector evening, Province Undersecretary Hizam Masoud emphasized the importance of marking the occasion in a manner that reflects the strong attachment to Prophet Muhammad. He urged the community to use this opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet's life and to emulate his morals and courage to raise awareness and address challenges.

Masoud noted that commemorating the occasion is a deeply rooted Yemeni religious tradition. He expressed gratitude for the blessing of guidance and reinforced the culture of sacrifice and struggle. Speakers at the evening underscored the Prophet's significance in the hearts of the people of faith and wisdom and their unique observance of the religious occasion.

At the Education Sector event, Guidance Sector Official Hussein Juhaf and District Director Abdul-Quddus Al-Khashib discussed how the Prophet's message brought about historical and civilizational transformations. They addressed the importance of confronting misleading ideas that discourage Muslims from commemorating the Prophet's birthday. The event highlighted the occasion as a chance to derive lessons from the Prophet's life and reaffirm the commitment to following his path.
