Health Sector in Al-Thawra District Celebrates Prophet’s Birthday Anniversary

Sanaa: The Health Office and medical complexes in Al-Thawra district of the Capital Sanaa organized a celebratory event today to commemorate the Prophet's birthday anniversary, peace be upon him and his family.

According to Yemen News Agency, the district director, Aqeel Al-Saqqaf, emphasized the significance of celebrating the Prophet's birthday as a means to strengthen the connection to and emulation of the noble Prophet. He lauded the efforts of the medical complexes in enhancing service levels and acknowledged the progress achieved over the past period. Al-Saqqaf highlighted the crucial role of health and medical staff in delivering optimal services to patients and citizens, alleviating their suffering, and embodying the Prophet's morals, values, and compassion.

The Health Office in Al-Thawra district has directed an initiative to honor the best medical complex and the best hospital in terms of medical services and citizen kindness, fostering a spirit of competition.

During the event, which saw attendance from notable figures like the Deputy Director of the Health Office in the Capital Secretariat, Dr. Ahmed Shamlani, and the head of the Planning Committee in the district, Mohammed Al-Hababi, Dr. Kamal Abudunia, Director of Health in the district, highlighted the importance of this occasion in renewing love and loyalty to Allah and His Messenger. He announced an initiative offering free medical check-ups and a 30 percent discount on diagnostic and therapeutic services for two weeks in celebration of the Prophet's birthday.

The event, which included executive and health leaders, medical staff, and expressive choral segments, also featured a report on the achievements of the Health Office and medical complexes.
