Al dhale'e: The health sector in Al-Dhalea Governorate organized a rally on Saturday to express solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, strongly condemning the genocide, starvation, and blockade policies imposed on the Strip.

According to Yemen News Agency, participants, including health sector leaders and staff, voiced strong denunciation against the crimes committed by the Israeli forces, supported by the U.S., against Gaza residents. They described the actions as unprecedented in contemporary history.

During the event, a statement was released emphasizing that the situation in Gaza constitutes a war crime occurring with the full knowledge of a global community that purports to defend human rights. The statement highlighted the tragic reality that thousands of Palestinians have succumbed to famine and so-called 'death traps,' with many more facing similar fates due to dire shortages of essential resources like food, infant formula, and medicine.

The statement squarely blamed the U.S. administration for the deliberate starvation and genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza, amid increasing Israeli aggression and a blockade that obstructs the entry of vital food, medicine, and humanitarian aid.

It called on the global community to take immediate action, urging continuous public demonstrations in cities and capitals worldwide and sit-ins outside UN offices and Israeli and U.S. embassies to expose their involvement in what was termed organized crime.

The statement described the plight of the Palestinian people in Gaza as one of the most egregious crimes of the modern era, underscoring the urgent need to halt Israeli aggression, genocide, siege, and starvation, and to hold the leaders of the occupying entity accountable.

Additionally, it demanded the immediate and unconditional opening of crossings and the swift delivery of infant formula, nutritional supplements, medicines, medical supplies, and medical teams to the Gaza Strip.
