Sana'a: Hebrew media outlets on Monday appeared draped in black under the headline 'A Difficult Day in Israel', following the heroic operation carried out by two Palestinians in occupied Quds, which left seven settlers dead and 11 others wounded with varying degrees of injury.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Jabalia, north of Gaza, four Israeli soldiers were killed after Palestinian resistance fighters hurled an explosive device at a tank crew, followed by gunfire targeting its commander. The tank caught fire, killing all crew members inside.
Channel 12 remarked with sarcasm: 'Is this the absolute victory Netanyahu spoke of?!' The channel further reflected the shock gripping the Israeli street, stating: 'Two years into the war and the scene: drones from Yemen striking airports, shootings in Jerusalem, and successive security incidents in Gaza.'
For its part, Israeli Army Radio reported: 'A multi-front day: an operation in Al-Quds, an explosion in Gaza, and a drone from Yemen.'
Channel 14 correspondent Hillel Biton Rosen said: 'While the Israeli government repeatedly tries to persuade Hamas to accept a partial and dangerous deal, its citizens and soldiers are under attack and suffering casualties from three fronts at once.'
Meanwhile, the Hebrew daily Yedioth Ahronoth acknowledged the growing concern within the Israeli security establishment, warning of potential resistance operations during the Jewish holiday period.
Israeli journalist Mendy Rizel commented on the Al-Quds attack, saying: 'This is one of the most difficult operations since October 7.'
